Essentials in the Mathematics: Functions and Their Derivatives for Higher Institute and University Students

Mathematics is considered one of the essential and important subjects for students in our universities. It serves as the tool for studying various applied sciences, allowing students to gain knowledge and conduct research in many fields, not to mention the mathematics specialization itself.

We are pleased to present to our students a summary of what we have concluded through our study, research, and experience in teaching at the university level, as well as what we have observed as the needs of university students for various mathematical topics that assist them in overcoming many of the challenges they face.

This book is a helpful resource for mathematics students in the Faculty of Science and Faculty of Education. It can also be beneficial for students in the Faculties of Engineering, Economics, and other colleges and higher institutes based on their needs and the topics prescribed by their specific curricula. The book covers several topics, including intervals, inequalities, relations and functions, limits and continuity, derivatives, and applications of differentiation.

Finally, we hope that this book will be suitable and simplified for students studying this subject, allowing them to grasp it easily.
